[For Output ONLY] – This converter cannot be used in the opposite direction, not for receiving SPDIF signals from source devices like DACs/AMPs, not for recording audio.
[Support 5.1 & Stereo Audio, NOT for 7.1] – This adapter can output stereo optical signal without any setup or software, and with a media player to decode 5.1 files and proper setting, it can output 5.1 surround sound, but this adapter does NOT support 7.1 surround sound due to the limitation of the USB port.
[NOT for Partial-Featured USB Port] – This adapter is designed for computers and is not compatible with devices that devices with only partial-featured USB ports, such as TVs, Car USB ports, speakers’ USB ports, etc.
