Each NextBase Dash Cam requires a professional-grade U3 "High Endurance" SD card, formatted every 2-3 weeks to prolong its lifespan. Data may not be stored correctly on an SD card that is not compatible, damaged or not formatted regularly. Symptoms of a corrupted SD card include: "alarm" sound, buttons off, frozen screen, illegible or missing recordings, and missing images from files.
